Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository to deliver device-specific buffer configuration templates and QoS profiles for the Micas M2-W6940 switch family. Leveraged Jinja2 templating to create reusable templates for buffer pools, profiles, and QoS settings, enabling standardized and automated configuration across multiple hardware variants. Utilized INI and JSON formats to define and manage configuration data, streamlining buffer management and reducing manual intervention. This approach improved consistency and deployment speed while minimizing configuration errors. The work focused on enhancing network infrastructure automation within SONiC environments, supporting faster device onboarding and ensuring uniform QoS across the Micas M2-W6940 product line.
