Worked on the Metrolist repository to deliver Portuguese localization for the application's user interface, focusing on translating login screens, synchronization options, and core UI elements. Leveraged Android development skills and XML to implement 358 out of 812 required strings, achieving 44% localization coverage. Established a Weblate-based translation workflow to support scalable and ongoing internationalization efforts. This work enhanced accessibility and onboarding for Portuguese-speaking users, supporting broader market reach and user satisfaction. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and translation. The approach prioritized maintainability and future expansion of localization capabilities.
