Focused on backend development and data modeling, the work involved enriching the DeviceInfo structure to include additional metadata such as serial number, manufacturer code, and ECHONET version, thereby improving device identification and management. Leveraging Python and API integration skills, implemented a metadata extension that supports more comprehensive asset discovery and lifecycle management for smart meter devices. Collaborated with a co-author to deliver this feature, which addressed business needs for richer device information without introducing new bug fixes during the period.
