During a one-month period, contributed to the ISSUIUC/ISS-PCB repository by designing and delivering a new schematic symbol for the ESP-32 Waveshare module. This work focused on schematic capture and PCB design using Kicad, enabling more efficient and reusable component integration within the project’s schematic library. The addition of the ESP-32 Waveshare symbol streamlined PCB layout workflows and improved design consistency for future hardware iterations. Throughout the process, maintained clear version control practices and ensured documentation alignment, although no major bugs were addressed during this timeframe. The contribution demonstrated domain knowledge in ESP-32 hardware and effective schematic library management.
