Worked on the ISS-PCB repository to enhance PCB design workflows by delivering a comprehensive update to the footprint and symbol libraries. Focused on improving component selection and layout accuracy, the work involved adding new footprints and updating existing symbol libraries using KiCad, a leading tool in Electronic Design Automation (EDA). All changes were consolidated into a single, well-documented commit, establishing a clear and traceable change history for future reference. This update enabled faster prototyping and reduced the likelihood of rework by ensuring that component libraries remained accurate and up to date, supporting more efficient and reliable PCB design processes.
