Worked on the prometheus/snmp_exporter repository to enhance documentation related to Cisco MIBs access, focusing on improving configuration guidance for users. Updated the generator README using Markdown to reflect the current locations of Cisco MIBs, replacing an outdated FTP link with two HTTPS options—one pointing to the official Cisco site and another to a GitHub repository. This change aimed to reduce configuration friction and ensure more reliable access for SNMP exporter setup. The work demonstrated attention to detail in documentation practices and addressed a specific user pain point by leveraging skills in technical writing and version control workflows. No bugs were addressed.
