During April 2025, Dimitri Paras developed a robust Death Defy auto-restore feature for the GDACollab/Well-Witches repository, focusing on enhancing late-game player resilience. The feature was engineered in C# within the Unity engine, integrating tightly with the existing stats management system to ensure consistent restoration behavior. When a player’s HP reached zero, the system triggered an automatic, gradual health restoration, allowing for a meaningful comeback mechanic.
