Worked on the gchq/CyberChef repository to enhance the CI automation process by introducing an environment variable, DETECT_CHROMEDRIVER_VERSION, which enables automatic detection of the ChromeDriver version during installation. This approach, implemented using YAML within a DevOps and CI/CD context, addressed compatibility issues in automated testing environments by reducing manual intervention and setup fragility. The feature improved test stability by ensuring that the correct ChromeDriver version is always selected, streamlining the continuous integration workflow. Over the course of the month, the focus remained on infrastructure automation rather than bug fixes, demonstrating targeted improvements in build reliability and maintainability.
