Contributed Arabic localization to the Jellyfin core repository, enhancing accessibility for Arabic-speaking users and broadening the platform’s reach. The work involved translating user interface strings using JSON and integrating the translations through the Weblate workflow, which streamlined collaboration with other translators. This addition improved onboarding and usability for new users in the Arabic-speaking community, supporting potential growth in engagement and retention. The process demonstrated skills in localization, open source contribution, and translation management. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary focus on delivering a comprehensive and maintainable internationalization feature for the Jellyfin/jellyfin project.
