Worked on the obophenotype/uberon repository to enhance ontology structure and data quality, focusing on anatomical granularity and consistency. Developed a new subclass for follicle associated epithelium under Peyer's patch epithelium and expanded the esophageal epithelium hierarchy by adding the stratum spinosum and establishing precise part_of relationships. Addressed data hygiene by correcting DOI formatting and removing empty synonym entries, improving data integrity for downstream analyses. Applied skills in ontology development, data cleaning, and ontology management using OBO language and Git workflows. These contributions supported more accurate queries, better interoperability, and higher-quality curation pipelines within the ontology framework.
