This adjustment addressed a potential misalignment risk, strengthening data integration and enabling more accurate cross-ontology search and annotation. The work involved ontology engineering, data curation, and version control using OBO and git, resulting in improved interoperability with FAO terms and supporting more reliable downstream analytics and annotation pipelines.
