During November 2024, Junming Fan updated the Drive Side Bracket CAD asset in the FormulaRacingatUCDavis/FE12_CAD repository to support an updated drivetrain assembly. Using SolidWorks and applying CAD design principles, Junming replaced an outdated bracket model with the new EN-1001-AB-Drive Side Bracket.SLDPRT, ensuring the asset matched current engineering requirements. The update included careful asset lifecycle management, with obsolete files removed and new binary CAD files delivered for downstream integration. No defects were reported, reflecting a focus on asset hygiene and version control. This work enabled a more consistent design-to-build workflow and reduced risk in the assembly process.
