Worked on spruceUI/spruceOS to deliver a user favorites system that streamlines access to preferred games. Developed a shell script, add_favourite.sh, which appends game details as JSON entries to a central favorites file, enabling efficient bookmarking. Integrated this workflow into the system launcher by adding a launch-list entry, allowing users to trigger the bookmarking process directly from the launch interface. Focused on JSON manipulation and shell scripting to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality, the work aligned closely with product goals by reducing user friction and enhancing engagement. Delivered two features in one month, demonstrating depth in workflow integration and scripting.
