Developed foundational analytics capabilities for the livechat-public-docs repository by implementing new Chat Data Reporting Endpoints to track unique visitors, group chat counts, and queued visitors. Leveraged JavaScript for API development and Markdown to update public documentation, ensuring endpoint parameters and response schemas were clearly defined for users. This work enabled granular insights into customer interactions and agent performance, supporting data-driven decision-making and easier integration for customers. The approach emphasized traceability and auditability by linking relevant commits, while laying the groundwork for analytics-enabled dashboards and operational insights. Focus remained on robust documentation and reliable data reporting throughout the development process.
