Contributed to the metabrainz/picard repository by delivering Chinese (Simplified Han script) localization, increasing translation coverage from 47.2% to 57.5% and enhancing accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Leveraged Weblate to manage collaborative translation workflows, focusing on both the Picard App and its constants. Utilized PO files and Python to implement and integrate new translations, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the application. The work addressed localization gaps, supporting broader user adoption without introducing new bug fixes during the period. Demonstrated skills in localization, software development, and translation, with a methodical approach to workflow and detailed commit documentation.
