Worked on the rapid7/strimzi-kafka-operator repository to deliver Cortex YAML metadata and exposure configuration, standardizing how service metadata such as titles, descriptions, GitHub repository details, and tags are defined and exposed. Leveraged YAML for configuration management and integrated Cortex to enhance service discoverability and governance within the data platform transport domain. The approach focused on metadata-driven architecture, ensuring that domain parents and groups were clearly specified for improved open-source collaboration and observability. This work demonstrated proficiency in DevOps practices and configuration management, contributing to more consistent metadata standards and streamlined integration with Cortex-based monitoring and governance systems.
