Worked on the rapid7/metasploit-framework repository to deliver automated scanning enhancements by integrating the Nexpose v3 API into the Metasploit Nexpose plugin. Focused on enabling efficient site and credential management, the work replaced legacy scanning methods with a structured payload approach, streamlining the process of creating sites and managing credentials. This integration improved automation, reliability, and data consistency in vulnerability scanning workflows, reducing manual intervention. The project demonstrated skills in Ruby, REST API integration, and plugin development, with careful attention to API versioning and structured payload design. No major bugs were addressed during this period, reflecting a focus on new feature delivery.
