Worked on the Autodesk/hydra-viewport-toolbox repository to improve the stability and maintainability of the rendering pipeline by decoupling styling logic from geometry construction. Focused on refactoring the BuildBasisCurvesDS component, removing style parameters and aligning line style handling with DashDotLines, which was moved to a separate rprim. This architectural change reduced coupling between styling and geometry building, addressing style-driven build and runtime issues that previously affected rendering accuracy. Utilized C++ for renderer refactoring and geometry processing, applying OpenUSD concepts to ensure cross-component consistency. The work emphasized commit-driven change management and collaboration, resulting in a more robust and maintainable codebase.
