Contributed to the arendst/Tasmota repository by enhancing developer experience and device reliability through targeted firmware improvements. Focused on embedded systems and firmware development using C and C++, this work included clarifying BLE scan command documentation to reduce support overhead and fixing a lighting visual glitch by correcting fade calculations in LightApplyFade. Further stabilized device dimming by introducing gamma correction logic, ensuring accurate dim value application and resolving mis-dimming issues. All changes were carefully documented and linked to specific commits, supporting maintainability and future code reviews. The approach emphasized clear documentation, precise bug fixes, and robust traceability within the codebase.
