During September 2025, Alessandro focused on delivering full Italian localization for the Jellyfin Android and Jellyfin Android TV applications, working within the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository. He translated 560 user interface strings to achieve 100% Italian language coverage, ensuring a consistent experience across both platforms. Using Weblate as the translation management tool, Alessandro established a reproducible workflow for internationalization updates, which streamlines future localization efforts. His work addressed accessibility for Italian-speaking users and improved the overall user experience. The project required attention to cross-platform consistency, proficiency in Android development, and a strong understanding of internationalization best practices within open-source environments.
