Worked on the TUM-DSE/doctor-cluster-config repository to automate secure onboarding for new students by developing a targeted user provisioning feature. Focused on DevOps and system administration, the work involved creating a new system user with a dedicated home directory, login shell, unique user ID, host restrictions, and SSH key integration, all managed through Nix. This approach ensured that new users could be added efficiently while maintaining compliance and traceability through detailed commit history. The solution addressed the need for scalable user management on the cluster, supporting both operational security and streamlined access for academic onboarding scenarios. No bugs were reported.
