Delivered Latvian localization across the jellyfin/jellyfin and jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repositories, expanding accessibility for Latvian-speaking users. Focused on high-coverage translation of user interface strings, this work synchronized updates between the core and Android platforms using Weblate to ensure consistency and efficient rollouts. Leveraged JavaScript and XML to implement and update translations, achieving nearly complete coverage on Android and Android TV. The approach improved onboarding and usability for international users, supporting Jellyfin’s global adoption. Emphasized open source contribution and localization best practices, with all changes integrated through collaborative workflows. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, focusing solely on feature delivery.
