
Contributed to the kieranknowles1/csc8508-team-project by building core navigation, AI, and gameplay systems over two months. Developed and integrated navigation meshes, A* pathfinding, and raycasting features to enable realistic AI movement and perception. Refactored the AI core into a modular controller, introduced scalable wave spawning, and enhanced combat mechanics with laser systems and health scaling. Improved UI with score displays, lives indicators, and end-screen progression, while optimizing performance and stability. Utilized C++, CMake, and GLSL to implement 3D environment design, state machines, and debugging utilities, resulting in a robust, maintainable codebase supporting advanced AI and navigation behaviors.
