In August 2025, Rama Chaganti enhanced the apache/nifi repository by delivering streaming reliability improvements and developer-focused Azure integration features. He refactored streaming policy checks and query execution logic in Java to ensure compatibility with the latest SDKs, addressing reliability gaps and improving testability. Rama introduced Azure Data Explorer testing support and implemented an Azure CLI-based authentication workflow, enabling local development and testing without direct Azure credentials. His work also included improved error handling and logging, which increased observability and maintainability. These backend development efforts prepared the project for smoother upgrades and demonstrated depth in cloud integration and testing practices.
