During November 2024, Ahmad Alhebel delivered a complete Swedish localization for the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository, translating 535 XML strings to enhance accessibility and user experience for Swedish-speaking users on both Android and Android TV platforms. He utilized Weblate to implement a reproducible, single-commit workflow, ensuring future translations can be managed efficiently. Ahmad focused on localization as his primary technical skill, applying best practices to improve onboarding, search, and UI readability. His work addressed the need for broader Nordic market reach and laid a scalable foundation for additional locales, with no major bugs reported and a clear emphasis on quality and maintainability.
