During June 2025, Aidan Schurman delivered Maltese language localization for the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository, expanding the app’s accessibility for Maltese-speaking users. He implemented new XML-based language files and updated localization configuration, integrating these changes through the Weblate translation platform. This work aligned with the project’s internationalization goals by streamlining the localization workflow, making it easier to add future languages. Aidan focused on localization and internationalization (i18n) best practices, ensuring the Android TV app could reach a broader audience. The scope was targeted, with one feature delivered and no bugs fixed, reflecting a focused contribution to language support and workflow improvement.
