Worked on the containers/container-libs repository to implement support for specifying a size parameter in Btrfs storage options, enhancing flexibility and reliability for backend storage configuration. Used Go to update the storage driver’s configuration parsing, allowing btrfs.size to be set via storage.conf and preventing errors from unknown options. Developed a unit test to validate the new parseOptions logic, ensuring robust handling of configuration changes. The work aligned storage option processing with documentation, increased test coverage, and reduced risks associated with runtime configuration. This approach improved deployment reliability for graph drivers and simplified future maintenance through clear code structure and targeted testing.
