Worked on the aiven/aiven-client repository to deliver a new release by updating the Makefile version from 4.9.0 to 4.10.0, ensuring the project’s release management process remained consistent and traceable. Focused on preparing the codebase for downstream packaging and distribution, this work involved no functional code changes but maintained the integrity of versioning practices. Utilized Makefile for version control and release orchestration, applying skills in release management to streamline the update. No bugs were addressed during this period, and the primary contribution centered on maintaining robust release workflows and supporting the ongoing stability of the project’s deployment pipeline.
