Developed VobSub subtitle support for Matroska streams within the Jellyfin media pipeline, focusing on enhancing subtitle extraction and encoding workflows. The work involved streamlining the extraction logic for VobSub subtitles, clarifying the use of the MKS container, and removing redundant code branches to improve maintainability. By aligning internal extraction methods and fixing FFmpeg command paths, the changes increased the robustness and reliability of subtitle handling. This contribution, implemented in C#, addressed compatibility with the Matroska format and improved the overall media processing pipeline. The updates were delivered to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository, emphasizing skills in C# programming and media processing.
