
Worked on the waterloo-rocketry/cansw_processor_canards repository to deliver the foundational AltIMU-10 driver header, establishing core data structures for accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and barometer integration. Focused on embedded systems and sensor integration using C, the approach included designing prototypes for sensor initialization, protocol and address detection, data retrieval, sanity checks, and device resets. The API was streamlined by removing protocol switching, simplifying the interface to support a single expected protocol. Code formatting was improved with clang to enhance readability and maintainability. This work laid the groundwork for reliable sensor data handling and future driver development across related projects.
