During November 2024, Steph contributed to the awslabs/cid-framework repository by enhancing the accuracy of snapshot and AMI cost reporting. She refactored complex SQL queries to use Common Table Expressions, enabling more reliable identification of the latest snapshots and seamless integration with CUR cost data. This approach improved both the precision and timeliness of cost analytics. Additionally, Steph resolved a data collection configuration issue by explicitly referencing the correct database table in YAML, which eliminated parsing errors and ensured accurate data joins. Her work demonstrated strong skills in SQL, data engineering, and database management, resulting in a more maintainable data pipeline.
