Worked on the awslabs/cid-framework repository to enhance the accuracy and reliability of snapshot-AMI cost reporting. Refactored SQL queries using Common Table Expressions (CTEs) to better identify the latest snapshots and AMIs, enabling more precise joins with CUR cost data and improving the timeliness of cost reporting. Addressed a data collection configuration issue by explicitly referencing the correct database table in YAML configuration, which ensured accurate data parsing and joining. Leveraged skills in SQL, data engineering, and database management to consolidate the data pipeline, resulting in improved maintainability, reduced parsing errors, and higher data quality for analytics and reporting.
