Worked on the awslabs/cid-framework repository to enhance automated S3 lifecycle management by implementing new rules for deleting incomplete multipart uploads and expired delete markers. Leveraged AWS, CloudFormation, and yaml to update deployment templates across multiple modules, ensuring that storage governance policies were consistently applied. This approach reduced the accumulation of stale data and helped mitigate unnecessary storage costs. The changes consolidated storage management practices within the infrastructure-as-code framework, laying the foundation for further automation and cost optimization. The work focused on improving operational consistency across environments while maintaining clear, maintainable lifecycle configurations for S3 buckets through cross-module template updates.
