Over a two-month period, contributed to the frc2399/2025-season repository by developing controller-based scoring controls for the CORAL game mode, enabling Xbox gamepad-driven selection of scoring levels, alignment, and game modes. Leveraged Java and a command-based framework to update CommandFactory and RobotContainer bindings, resulting in more intuitive robot operations and streamlined operator workflows. Enhanced code maintainability and production observability by removing unnecessary debug print statements from core classes. Further improvements included refining intake and scoring mechanisms, implementing passive intake modes, tuning control thresholds, and strengthening subsystem state management to increase reliability, precision, and testability in embedded robotics systems.
March 2025 (frc2399/2025-season): End-to-end intake and scoring refinements focused on reliability, precision, and testability. Implemented passive intake mode, tuned intake speeds and stall thresholds, refined elevator control, and adjusted coral L4/L3 wrist setpoints. Strengthened state management for accurate readings and added gamepad-driven intake state updates for rapid iteration, improving autonomous reliability and match consistency.

February 2025 (Month: 2025-02): Delivered controller-based scoring controls for CORAL game mode, enabling Xbox controller-driven scoring levels, alignment, and game mode selection. Updated CommandFactory and RobotContainer bindings to enable intuitive gamepad-driven robot operations and added operator controls for CORAL scoring levels. Cleaned up debugging output by removing debug print statements from core classes to reduce noise during normal operation. These changes improve operator efficiency, tuning speed, and code maintainability, and strengthen observability for production runs.
