Developed and integrated a Power Mode Switching Sanity Test within the canonical/checkbox repository’s PC-Sanity suite, focusing on system testing and test automation using Python. The work involved creating a new test case to validate power state transitions, updating configuration files to ensure the test runs automatically as part of the suite, and expanding coverage for power-mode behavior. By embedding the test into the continuous integration process, this effort improved early detection of regressions related to power management. All changes were delivered in a single, well-documented feature commit, maintaining clear traceability and supporting robust validation before software releases.
