Worked on enhancing the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository by delivering Hebrew (Israel) localization updates for both Jellyfin Android and Jellyfin Android TV applications. Utilized Weblate to translate 11.5% of the user interface strings, focusing on expanding accessibility for Hebrew-speaking users. The approach involved targeted commits to track progress and ensure consistency across mobile and TV platforms. This localization effort improved native language support, laying groundwork for future scalability in internationalization. The work centered on localization skills, leveraging translation workflows and version control to integrate new language support, ultimately aiming to broaden the platform’s reach within the Hebrew-speaking community.
