During February 2025, Crimson Blue contributed to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository by implementing Haitian Creole localization, enabling the application’s user interface to support Haitian Creole speakers. Using Weblate for translation management and JSON for language files, Crimson Blue established a reusable localization workflow that streamlined future translation efforts. The work involved two Git-based commits that delivered core translation support and documented the translation process, including the translation URL. This feature improved accessibility and inclusivity for Haitian Creole users, expanding Jellyfin’s user base. The contribution demonstrated skills in open source collaboration, Weblate integration, and translation management, with a focused engineering scope.
