Worked on the google/perfetto repository to deliver a targeted feature enhancing CTS testing and debugging workflows. Developed and integrated the attached_insets field, leveraging Protocol Buffers and protobuf language constructs to extend InsetsSourceProto with relative insets support. This addition enabled more granular observability of insets data, improving the accuracy of CTS test reporting and facilitating faster troubleshooting. The implementation involved careful data plumbing and clear, reviewable changes to the protocol schema, strengthening the technical foundation for insets handling. No bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus remaining on robust feature delivery and improved debugging visibility for insets-related scenarios.
