Worked on enhancing the Downloads v2 UI test suite in the mozilla/gecko-dev repository, focusing on increasing test coverage and improving stability following recent UI changes. Leveraged Kotlin and Espresso to add automated tests for download filters by type and file sharing, ensuring alignment with the new download snackbars that replaced legacy dialogs. Updated and maintained UI tests to reduce fragility, removing outdated test ignores to eliminate false negatives and improve continuous integration reliability.
