
During July 2025, Deturne developed a Player Health System for the perkcaan/Game-Workshop-Pre-Production repository, focusing on maintainable and consistent gameplay foundations. Using C#, Unity, and TextMeshProUGUI, Deturne ported and refactored existing scripts to create a new Health script that initializes, updates, and displays player health in real time. This system manages both maximum and current health values, providing immediate UI feedback for prototypes and establishing groundwork for future features like damage and healing. The work emphasized clear documentation and traceability, contributing a single, well-structured feature that advances the repository’s readiness for further game development and production preparation.
