Worked on the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository to deliver full German localization for the Jellyfin Android TV application, expanding accessibility for German-speaking users. Utilized XML for translation files and leveraged Weblate to manage and integrate 591 strings, achieving complete coverage across the Android TV user interface. The process involved end-to-end localization workflow, from translation through to UI integration, ensuring consistency and usability for the target audience. Focused on Android development, localization, and translation, the work addressed the need for broader market reach without introducing new features or bug fixes, demonstrating depth in language support and collaboration with translation tooling.
