During January 2025, contributed to the xwiki/xwiki-platform repository by implementing Tag Cloud Lazy Evaluation for Live Table Requests, focusing on backend development and performance optimization. This feature introduced conditional logic in macro templates to ensure tag cloud data is computed only when relevant, thereby reducing unnecessary processing for non-relevant requests. The approach addressed a prior inefficiency where tag cloud computation occurred unconditionally, leading to improved response times for applicable scenarios. The work was closely tied to issue XWIKI-22791 and included a traceable commit reference. The solution leveraged VM language skills and demonstrated attention to optimizing server-side resource usage and template logic.
