During November 2025, contributed to the xwiki-platform repository by delivering a Like Button UX enhancement focused on user interface modernization and improved interaction feedback. The work involved redesigning the Like button with a two-element UI, introducing a new heart_empty icon, and refining visual feedback through updated styling and hover effects. JavaScript and XML were used to migrate translations to the l10n service, streamlining localization and future maintenance. The project also included code quality improvements such as modernizing variable declarations and updating icon sets. Collaboration was emphasized through co-authored commits, ensuring the feature was ready for QA and production deployment.
