Worked on the DataDog/saluki repository to enhance developer experience by introducing a standardized devcontainer specifically designed for trajectory development. Leveraging Docker and devops practices, this feature established a consistent and repeatable development environment, streamlining onboarding for new contributors and reducing setup time. The devcontainer blueprint ensures that all contributors work within the same environment, minimizing discrepancies and configuration issues across different systems. By focusing on environment standardization, the work addressed common pain points in collaborative development and improved workflow reliability. The implementation demonstrated practical use of devcontainer and Docker to support efficient, scalable onboarding and ongoing development within the repository.
