Contributed a complete Catalan translation for the Jellyfin UI in the jellyfin/jellyfin repository, broadening accessibility for Catalan-speaking users and supporting community-driven localization efforts. Leveraged JSON for translation files and integrated the Weblate platform to streamline the translation workflow, ensuring precise Git traceability and compatibility with continuous integration processes. Conducted thorough localization quality assurance to validate new strings and prevent regressions, focusing on internationalization best practices. This work enhanced the platform’s inclusivity and positioned Jellyfin for broader adoption in Catalan-speaking regions. The contribution emphasized community engagement, localization, and translation skills, with a focus on maintainable, CI-friendly engineering practices.
