Worked on the internetarchive/openlibrary repository to deliver a new 'Want to Read' button on the trending books page, allowing users to express interest in trending titles directly from search results. This feature was implemented by updating the SearchResultsWork macro and introducing the include_dropper parameter, which improved interaction handling for trending content. The work demonstrated a clear end-to-end approach, from user interface enhancement to backend templating adjustments, all tracked through a single, traceable commit. Utilized HTML and frontend development skills, with a focus on templating, to ensure seamless integration of the new feature without introducing any regressions or bugs.
