Developed the initial scaffolding for the Quarkiverse Kafka Streams Processor extension within the quarkusio/quarkus-ecosystem-ci repository, focusing on backend development and configuration management. The work involved designing a new folder structure and creating a YAML-based configuration file to capture repository metadata and the latest commit reference, establishing a consistent pattern for future extension projects. This foundation supports scalable extension development, streamlines contributor onboarding, and enables downstream tooling and CI processes to reference reliable metadata. Throughout the process, disciplined commit messaging and thorough repository documentation practices were demonstrated, ensuring maintainability and clarity for ongoing and future development efforts.
