Worked on the zendesk/copenhagen_theme repository to deliver an Accessible Subscriptions Table, focusing on improving accessibility for a core billing feature. Used HTML and Handlebars to introduce header scope attributes and accessible naming and linking within the subscriptions table, ensuring accurate reading order and context for users of assistive technologies. The approach enhanced screen reader navigation and overall usability for the subscriptions workflow, directly addressing accessibility compliance. All improvements were validated through targeted commits, reflecting a methodical and standards-driven process. The work demonstrated attention to detail in front end development, prioritizing inclusive design and better user experiences for accessibility needs.
