During April 2025, Sebastian Sprenger focused on codebase maintenance for confluentinc/ccloud-sdk-go-v2 by removing the deprecated Stream Designer Go SDK and all related artifacts. This work involved deleting go.mod, go.sum, and the associated OpenAPI specification, resulting in a leaner and more maintainable repository. By targeting unused and outdated components, Sebastian reduced the maintenance surface and improved build times, aligning the codebase with the evolving product roadmap. The effort centered on code cleanup and SDK management using Go, emphasizing long-term code health over new feature development. No critical bugs were addressed, reflecting a month dedicated to technical debt reduction.
