During July 2025, Franck Trouillez developed a feature for the Shopify/rails repository focused on enhancing asset management flexibility. He implemented support for the nonce: false option in asset helper methods such as javascript_tag, javascript_include_tag, and stylesheet_link_tag, allowing the removal of the nonce attribute from generated HTML. This adjustment enables cleaner markup and smoother integration in dynamic deployment environments.
