Worked on the jenkinsci/opentelemetry-plugin repository to deliver DynatraceGrailBackend, enabling Traces on Grail for SaaS environments. Developed new backend functionality in Java and created Jelly configuration files to support both Grail and classic Dynatrace backends. The work included refactoring existing backend configurations and associated tests, improving clarity and maintainability across the codebase. Implemented visualization support as part of the Dynatrace integration, enhancing observability features for users. Focused on backend development and Jenkins plugin development, the contributions addressed integration needs for modern SaaS environments while ensuring the plugin’s configuration and testing infrastructure remained robust and easy to extend.
